Close with sl.st in the 3rd chain from the beginning of the round.

Round 2 

Sl.st. in the ch-space. Ch 4, 2 dc in the ch-space.

*1 dc in the next 3 stitches. 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in the next ch-space.*

Repeat *-* in total 3 times.

1 dc in the next 3 stitches. 

End with 1 dc in the ch-space from the beginning of the round.

Crochet the handles in the round, without closing with sl.st.

De hengsels worden in het rond gehaakt, zonder de toeren te sluiten.

Hv in de l-bg. 1l, 1 v in de l-bg.

Tiny Stars Blanket

Het is al weer veel te lang geleden dat ik een gratis patroon met jullie deelde via mijn blog. Tijd om daar verandering in te brengen. Deze keer ging ik aan de slag met (zoals de naam al zegt) het super zachte Baby Ultrasoft van Katia. Het is een garen dat bestaat uit 50% polyamide en 50% acryl. Heerlijk zacht dus voor een babydekentje.

Met de kleuren parelmoer - licht grijs, mintgroen en ecru en haaknaald 4,5 ging ik aan de slag. Ik haakte de Tiny Stars Deken. Hieronder deel ik het patroon met jullie.

Start with an even number of chain stitches. I started with 134 chain stitches.

Start with the color light grey.

Row 1
2sctog over the 2nd en 3rd chain from the hook.

Repeat *-* until there's 1 chain left.

End with ch 1, 2sctog over the previous chain and the last chain.

Change to the color off-white, leave the used color at the side of the blanket (you pick it up again 2 rows later).

Turn your work.

Row 2

Ch 1, 2sctog over the first stitch and the ch-sp.

*Ch 1, 3sctog over the previous ch-sp, the next 3sctog and the next ch-sp.*

Repeat *-* until there's 1 stitch left.

End with ch 1, 2sctog over the previous ch-sp and the last stitch.

Change to the color mint green, leave the used color at the side of the blanket (you pick it up again 2 rows later).

Turn your work.

Row 3

Ch 1, 2sctog over the first stitch and the ch-sp.

Repeat *-* until there's 1 stitch left.

Change to the color light grey, carry this color along the side of the blanket. Do not pull the yarn too tightly. Let it run up loosely along the side.

Leave the used color at the side of the blanket (you pick it up again 2 rows later).

Turn your work.

Row 4

Ch 1, 2sctog over the first stitch and the ch-sp.

*Ch 1, 3sctog over the previous ch-sp, the next 3sctog and the next ch-sp.*

Change of color, carry the yarn from 2 rows back along the side of the blanket. Do not pull the yarn too tightly. Let it run up loosely along the side.

Repeat row 4 until your blanket has the desired length. I made a total of 121 rows.

The border is crocheted with the color light grey. You can cut off the other 2 colors.

*1 l, 3vsam over de vorige l-bg, de volgende 3vsam en de volgende l-bg.*

Herhaal *-* totdat er nog 1 steek over is.

Eindig met 1 l, 2vsam over de vorige l-bg en de laatste 2vsam.

Wissel naar de kleur licht grijs, haal deze kleur langs de zijkant van het haakwerk omhoog. Trek de draad niet te strak aan. Laat deze losjes langs de zijkant omhoog lopen.

Laat de gebruikte kleur hangen (deze pak je 2 toeren later weer op).

Keer het werk.

Toer 4

1 l, 2vsam over de eerste 2vsam en de l-bg.

*1 l, 3vsam over de vorige l-bg, de volgende 3vsam en de volgende l-bg.*

Eindig met 1 l, 2vsam over de vorige l-bg en de laatste 2vsam.

Wissel van kleur, haal de kleur van 2 toeren lager langs de zijkant van het haakwerk omhoog. Trek de draad niet te strak aan maar laat deze losjes langs de zijkant omhoog lopen.

Laat de gebruikte kleur hangen (deze pak je 2 toeren later weer op).

Keer het werk.

Herhaal toer 4 tot de gewenste lengte. Eindig met de kleur licht grijs. Ik haakte in totaal 121 toeren.

De rand wordt gehaakt met de kleur licht grijs. De andere 2 kleuren kun je nu afknippen.

Do not turn your work. 

Ch 1. 1 sc in each stitch around the entire blankt. 3 sc in each corner. Do not close the round.

Continue on with 3 more rounds of sc around the blanket whitout turning your work. Again 3 sc in each corner.

Fasten off and weave in the ends.

Keer het werk niet. 

1 l. 1 v in iedere steek rond de hele deken. Haak 3 v in de hoeken. Sluit de toer niet.

Amazing Bobble tas

Een aantal maanden geleden alweer kreeg ik van Amazing Wool prachtige garens opgestuurd. Daar zaten ook een aantal bollen Bio Soft van Mondial bij in de kleur. Met het idee om daar een tas mee te haken.

Mondial Bio Soft is een zachte biologische katoen, die niet chemisch behandeld is. Het is een ecologische en hypoallergeen garen. Geschikt voor naald 5 mm.

Het garen is echt heel zacht en fijn om mee te werken en het is een hele fijne tas geworden om mee te nemen naar bijvoorbeeld het strand of het terras.

Benodigdheden

Goed om vooraf te weten
- De tas wordt in het rond gehaakt. De toeren worden niet gesloten. Aan het eind van iedere toer wordt het werk niet gekeerd.
- Gebruik een steekmarkeerder om de eerste steek te markeren. Als je geen steek markeerder hebt kun je hier ook een stukje draad voor gebruiken.
- Bij de bodem van de tas wordt er iedere toer met 6 steken gemeerderd, aan beide kanten 3 steken.

Uitleg bobbel steek
De bobbel steek (bst) wordt als volgt gehaakt: sla de draad om de naald, steek de naald in de steek en haal een lus op (3 lussen op de naald). Sla de draad om de naald en haal door 2 lussen op de naald. Sla de draad om de naald, steek de naald in dezelfde steek en haal een lus op. Sla de draad om de naald en haal door 2 lussen op de naald. Sla de draad voor de derde keer om de naald, steek de naald in dezelfde steek en haal een lus op. Sla de draad om de naald en haal door 2 lussen op de naald. Sla de draad om de naald en haal door de 4 lussen op de naald.

Already a few months ago I received some beautiful yarns from Amazing Wool. There where also a number of balls of Mondial Bio Soft. With the idea of crocheting a bag with it.

Mondial Bio Soft is an soft organic cotton, that has not been chemically treated. It is an ecologic and hypoallergenic yarn. Suitable for a size 5 mm needle.

It's really soft and nice to work with and it became a very nice bag to take to the beach or on the terrace, for example.

Good to know in advance
- The bag is worked in rounds. Do not close the rows with a slip stitch. And do not turn your work at the end of each row.
- Place a stitch marker in the first stitch of a new row. If you don’t have a stitch marker a little thread will do the trick aswell.
- At the bottom of the bag you increase every row by 6 stitches, 3 stitches on each side.

Explanation bobble stich
Crochet the bobble stitch (bst) as follows: yarn over, insert the hook into the stitch and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through two loops. Yarn over and insert the hook into the same stitch again and pull up a loop. Yarn over and pull through two loops. Yarn over and insert the hook into the same stitch as before and pull up a loop. Nimbus omslagdoek

Op het moment dat ik deze blog schrijf valt er nog een klein beetje motsneeuw naar beneden. Ik woon midden in de polder in Noord-Holland. Alles om ons heen is wit en het waait flink. Heel af en toe komt er een fietser voorbij geglibberd. Ik ben maar wat blij dat ik lekker binnen kan blijven. Sneeuw vind ik leuk, alleen in combinatie met die harde wind vind ik er niks aan. Maar als ik dan toch echt naar buiten moet dan wikkel ik me het liefst in een hele grote en warme omslagdoek. 

Het patroon van mijn nieuwe lievelingsomslagdoek deel ik hieronder met jullie. Voor deze omslagdoek van circa 230 cm breed (na blocken) gebruikte ik 7 bollen Nimbus van Fonty. 

Nimbus een is een garen bestaande uit 100% merino wol van Europese schapen uit Portugal en d'Arles (Zuid-Frankrijk). Per bol van 50 gram is er circa 150 m.

Nimbus shawl

The moment I write this blog there is still a little bit of snow falling down. I live in The Netherland, in the middle of the polder. Everything around us is white and it's windy. Every once in a while, a cyclist comes by. I'm so glad I can stay inside. I like snow, but not in combination with strong wind. But if I really have to go outside, I prefer to wrap myself in a very large and warm shawl.

I share the pattern of my new favourite shawl with you below. For this shawl, it's about 230 cm wide (after blocking), I used 7 skeins of Nimbus from Fonty.

Het is weer tijd om een nieuw patroon voor een sjaal met jullie te delen. Omdat je nooit genoeg sjaal kunt hebben ;-) Voor dit patroon koos ik voor het Ombelle garen van Fonty.

Voor de Ombelle selecteert Fonty fijne, lange en homogene vezels van kuddes jonge angorageiten. Deze bevolken de hooglanden van Zuid Afrika. Het garen is geschikt voor haaknaald 3,5 / 4 mm. Per bol van 50 gram is er circa 145 m.

Zoals de meesten van jullie weten haak ik vaker met het Fonty garen. Dit keer ben ik aan de slag gegaan met Guéret. 

Deze prachtige 100% merino wol is gemaakt van lange dunne merinovezels van 21 micron. Doordat het behoorlijk sterk is getwijnd met een gemiddelde spanning is de stekendefinitie bij dit garen goed zichtbaar. Het garen is geschikt voor haaknaald 3,5 / 4 mm. Per bol van 50 gram is er 125 m.

Met 7 bollen ben ik aan de slag gegaan en haakte ik een dekentje van circa 75 x 85 cm. Natuurlijk is het heel eenvoudig om deze afmetingen aan te passen naar ieder gewenst formaat.

Diagonally Striped Blanket

As most of you know I often crochet with the Fonty yarn. This time I started working with Guéret.

This beautiful 100% merino wool is made of long, thin 21 micron merino fibers. Because it is quite strongly twined with medium tension, the stitch definition is clearly visible with this yarn. The yarn is suitable for crochet hook 3,5 / 4 mm. Ther is 124 m per ball of 50 grams.
